Rainy Morning

Woke up this morning to a light drizzle of rain. It is supposed to get up to 42 degrees today.
I hate to see dirty snow and right now, there is a bunch of it on the ground. The warm temps should make it melt quicker

I painted the bathroom yesterday; still trying to get things back in place and finish up a few small projects to put in there.
I left the walls white- just changed out a few accessories. :)

Waitng.......

Been busy this morning cleaning house, doing laundry and waiting on the snow to fall.
From what I hear, snow is in the forecast for the rest of the week.
Geez, what fun!!!! lol



I am going to work on my t2t swap goodies this afternoon.

Tonight's supper is chili and cornbread.

When the going gets tough............

....................the tough make homemade vegetable soup. :)
Watching the snowflakes coming down AGAIN today and thought it would be a perfect time to make some soup.

I got the meat on cooking; just need to add all the veggies when its done.



I kinda, sorta put this little table/centerpiece together. It needs something else and I don't know what. I.think it looks bare. Or maybe the bowl is too small?? The candle is a battery operated on and I can move it, change the bowl or something.

Any suggestions would be helpful. :)

Snow Again??

We have been listening to the weather reports off and on for at least 24 hours now.

Girls, I think its going to be a big one!!

Our area is predicted to get 6-10 inches of snow plus the freezing rain. Geez, so much for doing anything over the weekend. :(

Anyone remember the blizzard of 1978 in Ohio?

OHIO BLIZZARD



I am going in the morning to get milk, bread and a couple extra packs of batteries; just in case.

I found 2 packs of stitching cloth today at the thrift store. They were less than $1.00 each and contain, aida cloth, linen, and osanburg.
I think I might work on a little project while the snowing is blowing outside. :)

Nesting

Spent the weekend puttering around the house, watching TV and wrapped in warm blankets- my idea of "nesting". :)
The weather channel says possible snow tomorrow. :(


I have been in "Spring cleaning" mode, even though Spring is a few weeks away.


The wallpaper border is down in the bathroom. The next step is painting. My bathroom is white and I really like it like that; even if white is not primitive style. I am looking to change the accessories though. I want things rustic(I think) or vintage. I was looking at the Pottery Barn website and they have lots of cool ideas and items. I couldn't afford to buy most of their goodies but looking gives me all kinds of ideas. :)

The bedroom cleaning is coming along-there is at least a path now. lol


I made a big pot of beef stew on Saturday. It sure tasted great on such a cold day.


Storm and our cat Lucille aka "loose wheel"

Storm is sharing an apt. in Columbus with a couple other friends. She is trying to do school , work and pay her own way in life. I am proud of her for trying and realizing that I am here whenever she needs me, for whatever she needs me for. I am proud of both my daughters. :) Parents arent always perfect and I know along the way I may have made my share of mistakes in parenting, but I have always been there for them no matter what- and always will be.
