Woke up at 4 am to the sound of rain on the roof and it hasn't let up yet.
I put the coffee on and grabbed a sweatshirt. Yessiree , I still got it on too. It has been a chilly day!
Really haven't done much around the house except the usual cleaning.
I did get caught up on the series, "America, The Story of Us". I have always liked history and this show has some great things on there that I didn't know about. I love having a DVR. :)
Has anyone else been watching it?
I have also been reading, "Moving on, Creating Your House of Belonging with Simple Abundance". It is a really great book and talks of how our lives and our homes tell of who we really are. The part that has really stuck with me is that some homes are tidy on the outside but you open closets, drawers, etc . and they are untidy and disorganized. In fact the person living there is probably the same on the inside. They give an outwards appearance that all is well, when in fact, it's not. Very interesting book!!! I have already underlined sooo many passages and I am not even halfway done with it. I found my copy at the local thrift store but I bet its pretty cheap on Amazon too.
Tonight for supper, I made chili.

What is up with this weather? We have a few days of nice sunshine and warmer temps and then back to dreary, rainy, cool and miserable! I'm over it!!! At least as of now, Friday looks promising! Aften has a field trip so I hope it works out :)
Chili sounds like a great meal on a day like today! I've been craving is so I have the ingredients on the grocery list for this week :)
The book sounds interesting :) I can relate! lol I have parts of me that are together and organized and then those little sections that aren't so much...much like my closets and things! lol If I wasn't into crafts so much, I would be in better shape because so much of my stashed stuff are craft items! lol
