$20 Bling

This year I decided to change up my Christmas decorating.
I love the Primitive,Rustic,Junk,Industrial(I think I got them all)look.
I heart Pottery Barn, Horchow and Restoration Hardware.
But, what's a girl to do when her pockets are looking pretty empty this year?
Get creative! That's what she does!!
I challenged myself to change the decorations for $20.00. That's it.
Let me tell you about some of my deals.

The pine garland was a yard sale freebie. I doubled it over, wrapped the LED lights($3.00 Big Lots) around it and added some ornaments.

I have been looking and looking for burlap ribbon. Even posted about it a while ago. prices were a little high. So....

I bought a yard of burlap($2.96), took it to my mom. She cut it in 3 1/2 inch strips, sewed them together and even ironed it.

More free pinecones and rusty bells.

  1. Everything looks great...plus under budget makes it even better. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I agree - everything looks really great!

  3. very nice--we could all use a challenge like this to spur a more Christian Christmas.

  4. Very Nice - you could start a show like Rachael Ray - $40.00 A Day, where she eats in different cities and only spends $40.00 per day. You did a great job finding deals. ~Ann

  5. I found you from Funky Junk's and am SO happy!
I love what I have seen so far here!

Thank you for sharing your creative resourcefulness.
