A Few THings to Show You.............

Hi everyone, sorry for the long absence. Things get kind of hectic every once in a while.
First, I want to show you some goodies I received in the mail. I participated in a textile swap at The Pickled Pepper Patch. My partner was Anne from http://www.seasonsofthepast.blogspot.com/

Look at all the awesome goodies I got!! A very large prim pillow,
2 small shelf sitter pillows, a framed stitchery and the cutest little bird sitting on his nest of tiny pillows. :)
Everything is wonderful!!! If you are interested in participating is some great swaps head on over to Char's Pickled Pepper Patch. You won't be sorry!!! :)

On to my next pic......
I had ordered some freebie paint from Glidden . This color is Sweet Buttercream. I like it.
Don't get me wrong , I love the dark primitive colors but this to me seems like a great "whitewash" color.

I needed a project to go with the paint.

This I picked up at a yard sale for $3.00. It's about 3 foot tall.

Know what color I am painting it?? That's right, Sweet Buttercream. :)

Stay tuned this weekend for the finished project. :)
