Whatcha Working on Wednesday- 2 projects...........

Good morning,
I have been up for a while, got the garden all watered, and had a cup of coffee . I still need to sweep the floors and go to a dr.'s appt.
I haven't participated for a VERY long time in Leslie's, Whatcha Working on Wednesday posts.
I just didn't have much I was working on.
Today, I am back!! woohoo!!
I got not one, but TWO projects to show you. :)

I picked these up at Claysville community yard sales (not the rectangle wood box in the background, I already had it and not the phone nor glasses) lol

BEFORE

Want to see what I did with them??

AFTER

Do they look better? :)

The paint is a Rustoleum spray paint from Dollar Zone( an everything for one dollar store).
I am very happy with the color.

Okay, on to my next project.

I was tired of the faded green lawn chairs we were using. Buying new ones was not an option.
Do you know how much these cost these days?? geez....

BEFORE

So............................. we spray painted them. :)

AFTER

This is also paint from the Dollar Zone store. It is Valspar's American Traditions.
color- garden stone
I think the chairs( 4 total), look much better. :)

Oh, Shegog's IGA has ground round( local meat) on sale this week for $1.99 /lb. ;
if any of you are close by. :)

See ya soon,
Me

  1. I love that color that you used on the finds! Very nice :)

I have one of those same buckets that looks like a firkin. Mine is black. I have no place to use it right now...lol. I'm looking around my house at stuff and wishing and hoping for a camper because I have so many things I can use in it :D (Shannon's BIL and SIL now suggested that we could BORROW that camper until the cousin is ready for it...no way! But it's a step closer to them thinking about letting us have it :D If it doesn't work out, it wasn't meant to be and I'm sure we'll find something better!)

Your chair looks wonderful made over :) I try to do the same thing...makeover instead of buying.

    Have a great day!
