Good Morning, It's Tuesady.

Good morning all,
Geez, everyone has been busy!
Well, so have I! lol

A few days ago I posted that we got the ceilings all painted. Well, I picked up paint for the living room. All the living room walls have been spackled and ready to paint.
I wish you lived closer. I need volunteers! I am not a great painter, so wish me luck. :) LOL
The wall color is going to be "Applesauce cake" by Olympic paint.

I wanted to go look for some new curtains today too, but right now we have icy rain .. there is a winter weather advisory in effect till noon.

My sister is taking my orange wingback chair to her house this week. She is going to cover it for me. Sunday we had gotten together and picked out some upholstery fabric. The colors are dark brown and black print. I really think it will look in great here. :)
Next project is seeing about having my couch seat cushions covered. The couch itself is in good shape; but the cushions and looking worn . I don't know whether I should to try and find the fabric to do them in and tackle it myself or just see how much it would cost me to have them done. Maybe I should get new foam too?

I got up at 4 am this morning and put a roast in the crock pot. Thought we would have roast , potatoes and carrots for supper this evening.
What are you fixing?

p.s. I will be painting today and hopefully get some pics on here tomorrow. :)
Can someone drop me off some lunch? :)

What would you like for lunch? I'll be right there to serve the hard working woman!

  4. Your paint color kind of reminds me of my kitchen paint! It's Sphinx from Wal-Mart :)

I'm sure you're busy by now. I kind of envy you, having all of those blank slates to work on!

    Have a great day :)

  6. LOVE that paint color and I am making pot roast too - in my dutch oven and it only needs about 3 hours! My son made it last week and raved about it.

  8. I love that rich color! I can't wait to see the final product!! Your roast sounds good, I'm having leftover beef stew that I made yesterday! I just love it the second day over noodles or rice.

  10. Hello, thank you so much for stopping by, I love the color of paint you picked out. I fixed a ham hubby loved the one I fixed on Christmas and said buy another so I did. It is very good but I am going to try and stay away from it. To many calories. Well thanks so much for your kind comment. I am new here and its not easy to navigate...but so far so good!

    Be blessed,

    Linda
