Fat Friday & Guernsey County Fair.......

Hi all!!
I have so much to catch up on, you all have been so busy!:)
I have been busy around the house and boxing things up for ebay.
First, here is my recipe for fat friday.

Could there be anything more fitting for a Friday Night? It's lots of layers composed of coffee-soaked German chocolate cake, chocolate pudding, Cool Whip, and crushed Skor bars. Repeat all layers to your heart's content. Top with chocolate chips and enjoy! Make it as big as you want.
Can you feel the pounds creeping on?

Next week starts our county fair. I love the fair!! I wish ours was like Leslie's; where you could go and stay. I think that is so cool!
French Fries are one of my favorite fair eats. I love them with malt vinegar! yum!!!!
I checked the paper today for yard sales, not alot to choose from. There is about 25 in the area .. Well, within a 15 mile area. Hopefully, I can find some goodies to post about.
Be back soon, Kim

  1. Oh , you don't know how much I would love a neighbor like you.

I'm going to make your dessert this weekend. Sound just like something my girls would go gaga over.

  2. I wondered where you had been. What ever became of the unwanted visitor? You never said.

    Ummm... yummy on the recipe!!!

Our County fair started today. Hubby and my son are going to the tractor pulls tomorrow night.

  3. mary, no more problems with unwanted guest.thank goodness!!!

  4. I would be as big as a Saltbox house if I tried every great recipe that you ladies give...this one though takes the cake and the name fits to a T!
Hope you find some treasures today and have a great time at the fair.

  5. That dessert looks SINFUL!!! Oh my!! Yummy...

  6. I think I gained a pound just looking at that mouth watering picture. LOL :) Sounds soooo good. I will have to try that when we have company so I don't eat it all.

Hope you found some goodies at the sales!

  7. OOOOOOOOooooooo....that recipe DOES look YUMMY! Have a great time at the fair!

  8. Another yummy recipe! Jer and the kids have been enjoying all of my new recipes a lot!

I hope you have fun at your Fair :) I miss ours. Just every now and then you get that craving for food that you eat at the Fair and would love to just be able to go and get it. I looked up Monkey Bread and plan to make that for the kids very shortly and I think I'm going to attempt my own version of a few others ;)

I was worried about you, too. You don't normally disappear everywhere at once without a note. I was hoping all was well and I'm happy to see that it is :)

    Have a great day!

  9. Sin is right!!!! I have to show this one to my daughter, she'd love to make this and I'd love to eat it.

  10. Ok Kim, here's the deal...
I love your blog, your recipes, your Scrabble sign, and your name!
I might have to do some sneaking off with your ideas! but from one Kim to another... you wouldn't mind would you?
Thanks for visiting my blog today... otherwise I would never have found you!

    Blessings, Kimberly
