A new man, A great find and Swapping...............

A new man, a great find and swapping............... lol
I bet I had you wondering with a title like that. :) tee hee

Meet my new SNOWman. He is from
http://catnapinnprimitives.blogspot.com/
Isn't he wonderful??!! I love the peg leg and one shoe!
She also sent me a cute little witch pillow that my daughter grabbed up.

I also received these wonderful melts in the mail. They are from
Deb at http://pilgrimsandpioneers.blogspot.com/ or http://www.brandyannescandlesandprims.com/

I have clove in my simmer pot right now and it is wonderful!!! Next to try is the pumpkin
cornbread. :)
My house is going to be smelling good for quite a while. Melts/tarts are one of those things I do that make me happy. I love having people tell me that my home always smells so good. :)

These were my great find for Friday. It says, " Ironstone- made in England", on the bottom. Is this also known as transfer ware?? The images are in brown.
I am hoping someone can help me with that question. I thought they were sooo pretty. I know they are not prim but for some reason I felt like they spoke to me and I had to have them. All three sets were bought for the low price of $1.99. Was that a good deal?? Now, where am I going to put them? lol

Next, I received ornies from a swap at http://www.cyowebsites.com/ .
These gals are wonderful!! I have participated in a few ornie swaps over the years and have been a member of quite a few(maybe 20-25?) forums.
This group is one of the best. :)

Last, but not least, is my goodies from the Wizard of Oz Swap at http://ificouldsetmysoulfree.blogspot.com/
Thank you Sherry, for hosting!!!

What are you doing this weekend?
I made a big pot of Chili and another batch of Apple Crunch for dessert for supper this evening.. Earlier, we went to dad's and rearranged his living room. Next Wednesday is the surgery date and I wanted to get it done before then. He is one to be setting around stewing about what still needs done and I didn't want him to worry about it.
Tomorrow afternoon we are going to clean out our yard pond. I bought a mist maker months ago and still don't have it hooked up. I thought it would be really neat for fall.
When I took Adam out earlier today; the sky was so gray!! It is definitely Fall.
Maybe getting ready for snow?? Geez, I hope not. I wish it could be fall till December. lol
Be back soon,

  8. Wow, love all your goodies! I have some dishes like those too. A friend of mine bought me dessert plates and a pitcher. Not sure what they are considered either. Your chili sounds good! Not too much sounds appetizing since surgery on Wednesday.
