Tuesday's Topics

Hi all,
I wanted to share the recipe for the Apple Crunch I had posted the pic of a few days ago.
We like it better than Apple Crisp.

APPLE CRUNCH
7 or 8 apples
1 c white sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter or margarine ( 1/2 c equals one stick)
1c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. vanilla
slice apples and mix with white sugar.
mix rest of ingredients with pastry blender till crumbly.
spread apple slices in cake pan. cover with crumbly mixture.
bake approx. 30 minutes at 325 degrees.
tastes like caramel apples! :)

Here are a few pics of my fall decorating...................

I dont know if I like the cornstalks right behind the scarecrow. I think it looks like they are coming out of his head. lol

* note- check out the far left window of the house behind my bench. they have a snowman in the window. yep, he has been there all summer. lol

Halloween ornie tree

Pumpkins came from Aldi's. They are only $1.99 each, so get some quick!!
Aldi's has to be one of my favorite places to shop. If you don't have a store close by then you don't know what you are missing.
