Good morning all,
It is chiily outside! Brrr!
I am waiting on the batteries to charge so I can post some images of my holiday decorating.:)
In the meantime, I will share these with you. My sister, Karla, sent me these of her new tree box. She made this box out of old barnwood. It hides the plastic stand very well. I can't wait to see the tree when it's all done.:)

I just got my new freebie in an email from Eileen .
She is sending a new freebie each day for the twelve days of Christmas if you are on her newsletter list.
Today's freebie would make a great ornament or a gift!!
What are your plans for the day?
The tree box looks so nice, she did a very nice job!
ReplyDeleteI am just going to hang out with my girls today, maybe bake a cake.
I would like to finish my shopping, but I think that I will save that for tomorrow!
I will stop by later to check out your pictures.
Have a great day!
Thanks for posting a link to Hannah's story - you are wonderful!

The tree box is a brilliant idea! It would also keep the pets from drinking the water!

What a wonderful idea for your tree. I always hate the way the tree skirt gets smooshed under the tree. I have several similar boxes that would work like yours. Tell Karla thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteps. Can't wait for your Christmas Pics.

I have a wonderful old apple box that I got in Sperryville, VA decades ago -- has the orchard and town names still visible. This will be a great use for it. Thanks to your sister.
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, the tree box is a great idea...my problem? My cats have the tree skirt in a mess...
ReplyDeleteLove the tree and thanks for the link..m..
ReplyDeleteHI Kim, This box is simply "genious"!!....I LOVE it!!!!....Your tree looks beautiful just like it is!!....I always think that each year before I add the decorations!...Years ago I was reading House Beautiful magazine...They were featuring this family's holiday home...They put up three trees clustered in a corner, in various sizes, added only white lights & then a big white star to the top of each! It was so pretty!...Always want to do that...but then again I do love my ornaments! :)....Have a great day!....Your friend, Heidi XO
